Daddy Training Tools Helps Dads Bond with Infants

May 17, 2018

A Kickstarter launch event was held at Main and Six Brewery to introduce the first Daddy Training Tools by Drools of the Trade. In attendance were Bryce, President of Forge Manufacturing and Drools of the Trade, who was joined by many new dads toting their tots, as well as members of the local press to hear about the release of Drools of the Trade’s Daddy Training Tools.

Over 13,000 entries were submitted to this year’s Paypal  $10K Business Makeover and for Forge Manufacturing, being a finalist means more than just the prize money.  The award money is being used to launch a new subsidiary.  “ The PayPal team immediately got the vision and are happy to lend their expertise to help us finalize our dad approved teethers,” said co-founder Bryce Pfanenstiel.

Paired with the outcome of a Kickstarter campaign, the Paypal funds will be used to ramp up production of the first batch of Daddy Training Tools. These FDA approved silicone teething tools make it easy for dads to bond with their babies. Drools of the Trade has tools dads can relate to and babies can’t keep out of their mouths!

The concept of Drools of the Trade was born along with Bryce’s 1st child a couple of years ago.  He was feeling very alone as a new dad.  “Everyone was oooing and ahhing over the baby and Mom, and ignoring me.  I felt very left out!   I had trouble relating to the baby and finding areas of common interests.  So instead of whining about it (there was plenty of that already going on in the house) I decided to do something about it!”

Bryce and his partner Adam Dukes own a successful 3D Manufacturing business , Forge, so they began printing teethers in shapes that were meaningful to men. As Bryce’s children were chewing on them, other Dads asked where he found them.  And the they history!

This is just the first Daddy Training Tool planned for Drools of the Trade.  Bryce and Adam are on a mission to improve Daddy - Baby bonds! Learn more about the kickstarter campaign by visiting  .
