, A US-market-first public relations (PR) management tool is set to change the way the PR industry operates with the announcement of their SaaS platform of the same name, set to launch on November 1.
“I want to bring a newer, fresher way for small businesses, startups, entrepreneurs, and even agencies, to manage their PR,” says HYPR President Krista Bordner. “During my 13+ year-long career in the business, I noticed many business owners felt intimidated by public relations, and lacking the funds to contract a freelancer or agency, would neglect doing any PR activities at all, and that is a missed opportunity. My aim is to make PR accessible for every budget, and to help people acquire the skill set they need to run with it on their own.”
After reading about their now sister-service operating in Australia, a platform of a similar name, Handle Your Own PR, Krista began working with founder Jules Brooke to bring the service to the United States.
“Applying my knowledge of how PR and communications work in the US, I began modifying and customizing the existing platform to be a perfect fit and affordable tool for US users, demystifying the process and allowing them to be in control of their PR campaigns,” says Krista.
The HYPR platform enables users to access and curate their own media lists and assists in distributing pitches and media releases to key media contacts. Users have access to full media contact details, which are updated regularly. The step-by-step process walks users through the process of building a campaign, from creating the media list to pitching and follow-up.
The platform offers tips, templates and video tutorials along the way, including how to write an effective pitch email, a press release template and interview tips when speaking with journalists. And, if users are having trouble writing their releases or pitches, they can opt to have HYPR write it for them. HYPR also offers weekly, live office hours where subscribers can ask any questions they have, which fosters a dynamic community dedicated to helping each other develop compelling stories.
“HYPR is great for agencies too. Unlike general media distribution services, which a lot of PR managers use, users know which outlets their releases have been distributed to. This means no more scattergun approach and greater control for managers,” says Krista. “HYPR isn’t here to cannibalize the PR industry; instead we’re filling a gap in the industry, offering a great tool that PR professionals can add to their toolbelt.”
Pricing is simple with no surprises,a monthly subscription is only $99 per month, and users receive annual access for a discounted $949. Business owners who sign up before the end of November can join as a Foundation Member and will receive lifetime HYPR platform access for $399 and 20% off future products and services.

HYPR is a SaaS platform designed to help small-to-medium enterprises, individuals and agencies get their news onto the desks of the right journalists and producers using its simple, streamlined method.
It was brought to the United States, after President and Communications Expert, Krista Bordner read about its sister service, Handle Your Own PR, which was developed in Australia.
The platform walks users through the PR process, enabling them to create and run multiple campaigns. The process is simple and allows users to access the massive HYPR media contact database, create a press release, work up a pitch, distribute AND follow-up with all media contacts. It’s essentially an agency at your fingertips.
HYPR was created to demystify the PR process, enabling businesses with a small marketing budget to run effective PR campaigns like their larger counterparts, educating them along the way so when these businesses have grown enough to afford an agency, they will have knowledge and realistic expectations of how the PR industry works, and the results they can expect.
